Good publicity for our club is always welcome and in this instance Mo & Mike Wood had the opportunity to achieve just that in the latest Waterways World, as well as returning a favour by describing the very warm welcome received by club members at the Dalton Arms when some of them were marooned there for two months following the Rufford breach in the summer of 2015.
You may recall that there was a series of updates posted by Lynn Hallam in “Notes from the Lancaster” which contains a number of photographs including the club contingent dining at the Dalton and the presentation of a Club Burgee to their hosts, Debbie and Geoff.
If I am to be marooned anywhere, I can only hope that it is close by to such a great pub!
